Il convegno è stato organizzato a Trieste da Federsanità ANCI FVG, Associazione “Goffredo de Banfield”, Ordine dei Giornalisti FVG, Comune di Trieste, ASUITS, Federazione Alzheimer Italia insieme ad altri partner e patrocinatori, Dementia Friendly Community Italia, Coordinamento Associazioni Alzheimer FVG, Federsanità ANCI Lombardia, CARD FVG, ASP ITIS, “Pro Senectute” e Istituto regionale per i ciechi “Rittmeyer” Trieste, Ordini dei Medici, Infermieri, Assistenti sociali, Circolo della Stampa di Trieste e IRSSES. Scopo dell’iniziativa far sì che le persone si sentano sempre parte della comunità in cui vivono e possano parteciparvi attivamente. La “comunità amica” si adopera per preservare l’indipendenza e il vivere attivo dei malati e dei loro familiari, coinvolgendoli per identificare gli aspetti della quotidianità da conservare e quelli da migliorare, le difficoltà che incontrano nel vivere gli spazi pubblici, favorirne il benessere.</p>
<p>Il progetto <strong><a href="http://www.polliciot.it">PollicIoT</a></strong>, che ha come partner <a href="https://www.cimtech.it">Cimtech Srl</a> e <a href="https://www.cimtech.it">Mipot Spa</a>, vuole rispondere in maniera efficace alle necessità di oltre 25 milioni di persone colpite dal morbo di Alzheimer in tutto il mondo, 520.000 solo in Italia. L’idea progettuale di PollicIoT offre, in uno scenario Smart Health di Assisted Living, una soluzione completa dedicata all’assistenza dei malati di Alzheimer: da una piattaforma Web il caregiver sarà in grado di localizzare il paziente o ricevere notifiche di allarme in caso di caduta o uscita da perimetri predefiniti, grazie ad un dispositivo Wearable dotato di sensori GPS e per l’individuazione di posizione e movimenti del malato.</p>

<p>Continuano a pieno ritmo le attività del progetto <a href="http://www.polliciot.it" target="_blank">PollicIoT</a>, che sta realizzando una soluzione completa dedicata all’assistenza e al monitoraggio dei malati di Alzheimer: da una piattaforma Web il caregiver sarà in grado di localizzare il paziente o ricevere notifiche di allarme in caso di caduta o uscita da perimetri predefiniti.</p>
<p>Con il mese di maggio è infatti iniziata la fase di sperimentazione della piattaforma presso la ASP Moro di Codroipo, i cui operatori per primi ne testeranno funzionalità e operatività. Si tratta di una collaborazione di primaria importanza per la messa a punto di PollicIoT, che a fine giugno verrà ufficialmente presentata e proposta sul mercato.</p>
